Saturday, in the Park ~ Yorba Regional

As restrictions for Coronavirus continue to shape the way we are able to safely recreate, we find ourselves spending as much time as we can out of doors in the fresh air! We are so grateful the weather has been mild this Fall and so far this Winter in Orange County. We often go out to take drives to get out of the house and get a change in scenery. Last week, we stumbled upon a large space in Anaheim Hills named Yorba Regional Park while looking to take a walk with our kids and dogs. If you are looking for a place to enjoy lots of activities in a park that is vast and has much to offer, Yorba Regional Park is a park you don’t want to miss out on.
There were many people enjoying the park, including people picnicking, walking, running, bike riding, fishing and sailing their model boats. The park has barbeque and fire rings, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, paddle boat and bike rentals, multiple playgrounds, volleyball courts and shelters available for rent for gatherings: everything you could want to spend the whole day basking in the sun!

There is a small lot that you can park in for free, otherwise there is plenty of parking that is $3.00 on weekdays and $5.00 on the weekends and holidays. If you wind up paying for parking, the price is well worth it. So break out of the monotony and plan a lovely excursion to Yorba Regional Park.
