Knott's Boysenberry Festival: Berry Fun!
What we relish about Knott’s Berry Farm is not only the experience of 'California's First Theme Park', but, it's tradition of getting a bang for your buck. With Knott's 'Taste of Boysenberry Festival' running for several weeks and ending on May 2nd (at least as of writing) - you'll be pleased at Knott's going all out for what may be the last event of its kind - for now.
With the numbers turning down, several of our local theme parks are starting to release dates of opening up, with Knotts slated for a grand re-opening on May 21st. We look forward to a Knott’s full opening, with all of its rides and attractions - including the return of 'Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair' 4-D attraction. Yay!
With the Boysenberry Festival, an adult will get to indulge in a total of five (5) food, sweet treat and drink tastings from over a 100 different options which highlight Knott’s magnificent Boysenberry. A child’s ticket will offer three (3) food choices, sweet treat or drinks. These options are pretty much full-sized and you will definitely be satisfied! In our case, we were able to bring home
plenty of food - here's a trick, ask for foil! Some of our favorites were the Boysenberry BBQ Brisket Mac and Cheese, Boysenberry BBQ Carne Asada Pizza with Cilantro and Onions, Philly Cheese Fries with a Boysenberry Onion Topping and the Pastrami Sandwich on a Pretzel Bun with Provolone Cheese and Boysenberry Mustard. Divine!
We enjoyed their boysenberry infused beers and spirits which were just right and not over sweetened with boysenberry. We gobbled up the Flavored Funnel Cake with Boysenberry Ice Cream and fell in love with their Fun Bun with a Boysenberry Glaze! At the end of our excursion, we were happily stuffed!

It was so lovely to enjoy the warm Southern California sun in our relatively mild spring! It was a inspiring to see all of the guests who are ready to get back to fun.
